The Bartlett Fire Protection District is accepting applications for full-time Firefighter/Paramedic.
Information is hereby provided describing the testing process and dates for various testing components.
Applications will be available Wednesday, May 2 through Friday, May 18, 2012, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Bartlett Fire Station One, 234 N. Oak Ave. Bartlett, IL. Applications must be turned in no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012. A $30.00 (cash, bank check, or money order) application processing fee is required at the time of application.
Written test will be held at Eastview Middle School, 321 North Oak Avenue, Bartlett, IL on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 9:00 AM. A valid driver’s license must be presented at the time of entry to the test site.
The Bartlett Fire Protection District has a proud history of serving the community since 1897 and offers their employees opportunities to serve in all facets of fire and emergency services. The District staffs three fire stations and responds to over 3,200 emergency incidents annually. The District is staffed with 45 full-time sworn personnel, 22 part-time personnel, 6 contract employees, and 6 staff personnel. The District does not have any current vacancies. The testing process is being conducted to establish a two year list that will be used to fill any vacancies.
