Here we have a variety of activities that we hope will teach children about fire safety and survival tips. It is our hope that this site will increase your child’s knowledge about fire safety so that they will know what to do in that sort of emergency. You and your child can click on any of the links to learn about all sorts of fire safety activities.
Click on Sparky® the Fire Dog® to learn about fire trucks and see fire truck pictures. Or you can go to the firesafety.gov site for life saving tips on fire and smoke safety; there you will also find activities relating to fire safety such as matching games, word searches, and coloring pages. If your family spends time outdoors, we encourage you to check out Smoky the Bear®. Smoky will talk about safe outdoor fire practices.  
We encourage you to have your entire family look over these links and discuss what to do in the event of an unfortunate emergency. Plan an escape route and designate a place away from your house as your “safe meeting point.”
